partypauper + opportunities!

sorry i've been away guys, been swamped with schoolwork.

anyway!

I was gonna post this piece up as part of a bigger lookbook, but i do sense some getting antsy with the lack of new posts. I guess this is kind of like a filler update except I really like these photos and I do find this piece insanely versatile. it's also something you guys have already seen from the previews so i'm not giving away too much ;) about the prettiness of the pictures, i haven't had time to photoshop lately because of school, but bear with meeeeee many surprises next week ;)

So....I got invited to a party the other day. A house party sort of thing. I'm not a big "woohoo house party" person, so I had no idea what to wear. The host told me this: "dress nice, dress party, wear heels, but dress comfortably, and dress casually. Don't be too glammed up like you're going for a fancy event."

I was dumbstruck. I had no idea what she was talking about. Then i was browsing through my photo library, looking through to delete some before uploading, and I came across this dress. I kinda had an "OHHHHHHHH" moment. Now, I know it sounds super made-up, but it's true. This super cheap $5 stretchy bodycon u-back dress, is the perfect "casual sexy party" outfit. I'd wear it with a cover up (cardi or denim jacket) and converses to not overdo the sexiness, but hey, if you've got it, flaunt it! ;)

I'm definitely not encouraging you to walk around in this dress during the day, unless you're pairing it with leggings or tucked into jeans with a cover-up.

I wore this once, with thick black leggings, a huge denim shirt, and of course some biker boots. It looked really awesome, and plenty decent (:

Warning: If you're petite, it's gonna reach past mid-thigh, probably 4 fingers above the knee, and look decent enough with opaque tights. If you're tall like Athari (the model), this is going to be a strictly-party outfit.

Fits a UK/AUS 6-10 (stretchyyy), EUR 32-36, US 0-large 4 small 6 (:

this is the pattern in case it wasn't clear enough, and I didn't tinker with the contrast or saturation etc so this is pretty much the colour of the dress in real life.

KK time for a recruitment ad: anyone who wants to volunteer to help with writing/photography/modelling/videography (filming)/music, contact me please!

A whole-new PXD experience awaits, in a few weeks.

I will have the promised shoe post up by Monday.

Til then,
All my love.
