yayerz

i'm super thrilled to announce that finally, pxd has a new home!!!

it's http://www.pxd.nu

CLICK IT, IT'S AMAZING.

this blog was my baby at the start, i poured my heart and soul into it, hoping that one day pxd would turn into a full-fledged website.
now my friend and business partner, kyle, has created a fantastic site that, down to every detail, is exactly what I was trying to achieve but didn't have the techy know-how to.
so, i won't be posting on this blog anymore. i'll even be transferring the old posts over but it'll take some time.

so thank you so much guys for all the support, I know that not every blog is blessed with more than a thousand views in its first week. please continue to check out pxd through these channels:

site: http://www.pxd.nu
facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pxdnu
twitter: http://www.twitter.com/pxdnu

again, thank you so much, and keep spreading the pixiedust.

all my love,
sibyl

shoes {preview}

so this week has been a whirlwind of waitressing, i worked double my usual number of shifts.
BUT, i do not break promises. I'm in the midst of editing the photos for the shoe post as we speak, and here's a preview shot:

check back soon!

in the meantime, say hello to Sarah, the co-photographer and model for this shoot.
She's an amazing person, we've been friends for more than 10 years now, and I could not be more grateful to have a friend like her who's always willing to go out of her way to help others.

partypauper + opportunities!

sorry i've been away guys, been swamped with schoolwork.

anyway!

I was gonna post this piece up as part of a bigger lookbook, but i do sense some getting antsy with the lack of new posts. I guess this is kind of like a filler update except I really like these photos and I do find this piece insanely versatile. it's also something you guys have already seen from the previews so i'm not giving away too much ;) about the prettiness of the pictures, i haven't had time to photoshop lately because of school, but bear with meeeeee many surprises next week ;)

So....I got invited to a party the other day. A house party sort of thing. I'm not a big "woohoo house party" person, so I had no idea what to wear. The host told me this: "dress nice, dress party, wear heels, but dress comfortably, and dress casually. Don't be too glammed up like you're going for a fancy event."

I was dumbstruck. I had no idea what she was talking about. Then i was browsing through my photo library, looking through to delete some before uploading, and I came across this dress. I kinda had an "OHHHHHHHH" moment. Now, I know it sounds super made-up, but it's true. This super cheap $5 stretchy bodycon u-back dress, is the perfect "casual sexy party" outfit. I'd wear it with a cover up (cardi or denim jacket) and converses to not overdo the sexiness, but hey, if you've got it, flaunt it! ;)

I'm definitely not encouraging you to walk around in this dress during the day, unless you're pairing it with leggings or tucked into jeans with a cover-up.

I wore this once, with thick black leggings, a huge denim shirt, and of course some biker boots. It looked really awesome, and plenty decent (:

Warning: If you're petite, it's gonna reach past mid-thigh, probably 4 fingers above the knee, and look decent enough with opaque tights. If you're tall like Athari (the model), this is going to be a strictly-party outfit.

Fits a UK/AUS 6-10 (stretchyyy), EUR 32-36, US 0-large 4 small 6 (:

this is the pattern in case it wasn't clear enough, and I didn't tinker with the contrast or saturation etc so this is pretty much the colour of the dress in real life.

KK time for a recruitment ad: anyone who wants to volunteer to help with writing/photography/modelling/videography (filming)/music, contact me please!

A whole-new PXD experience awaits, in a few weeks.

I will have the promised shoe post up by Monday.

Til then,
All my love.

TEEHEE

$8KISA (pt. II)

white silver tee:
Europe size 32-36
UK 6-10
US 0-6
Very loose top, it's actually a size 36 on the label.

Could fit 38 but I don't know if it'll fit right, so i won't risk it (:
again, the top itself is pretty loose, it's the shoulders i'm concerned about. so if you're a narrow-shouldered size 12, go for it! (:

Looks fabulous paired with a camel blazer/jacket and floral high-waisted shorts, casual but not sloppy <3

WHITE HKtee;
Europe size 32-34
UK 6-8
US 0-4
(not tight per se, but it has a narrow shoulder width)

super adorable with any super bright long/short skirt (or shorts if skirts are not your thing), and well, I usually live in my khaki converses so I just wear every outfit with them (: I'm probably not the person to ask about shoes, since I live on converses and moccasins heh. If you really want a jazzed up outfit, pair this tshirt with a fuschia bandage skirt, and tons of gold accessories. so 80's fantastic <3

some of you may complain that my outfits are too plain. I'm okay with that. Some girls wear super cute outfits to school. Some would rather be comfy and casual. I will defo upload more dressy posts in future, but for now i'm focusing on basics that make our lives easier. So casual is our concept for now (:
